It shows the default or last downloaded Resort. If you want to change the resort the click on [📋List]
To find a path: Tap once on the screen and it marks the starting point (red A). Tap again and it marks the destination (green pin).

The app found a path and only shows the path.
Zoom, tilt or locate yourself by clicking on the arrow button in the upper left corner inside the map and select a starting point.

Here you go, you got your run! If you don't like a run or the slope or lift is closed, click on
[📋List] and tap on the run and SkiWayz is looking for an alternative.

This is it he same route like on the map. By tapping on a leg of the route the system tries to avoid that run or lift. The radio buttons on the top may find a faster or easier route. The purple country skier means less cat walks.
The Black/Blue/Green and Purple bar gives you an idea how difficult the run is. The "🛗" shows how may % you will be in a lift. The ∑ means the total length (sum) of the route.
When no route is active you'll see the lift status and a summary of the resort data.

Sharing your location with someone via Text (SMS)
The button will send your current location to another phone for the next 3 hours. After the the 3 hours the app forgets your location.
Track your day and review it later.
The blue line shows the elevation and the red the speed. Currently the day "15-Dec-2025" is selected. All trips are locally saved in a GPX file, with the archive button you can zip all existing files and send/share them with the iPhone share function. After a successful send the local data are deleted.
See how many lifts and trails, what the snow situation is and how crowded they are.
SkiWayz does not collect any personal information from users. All functionality operates entirely on your device, and no data is transmitted to external servers. As such, this app does not track your activity or store any identifiable information about you. By using this app, you agree to these privacy practices.
Note: If you track yourself then the GPX files remain locally on your phone until you archive them and send them to you or others. At that point the app is deleting any tracking data.
Sharing your location get erased after 3 hours.
